The Miravalle Caravan Park, a quiet winter camping paradise, is situated at the beginning of the Sassolungo mountain and is the ideal base for an unforgettable skiing week in Val di Fassa.
Only a few steps from the entrance there is the ‘Col Rodella’ cable car taking you up to an altitude of 2440 m, where you can discover the most beautiful and renowned slopes of the Dolomites to ski in Val di Fassa surrounded by a unique landscape.
A stone’s throw from our campsite in Val di Fassa you can find grocery stores, newsagent’s, tobacconists and the whole range of shops that you usually frequent in your cities: everything is close at hand, so you won’t lose the taste of your habits even during holidays.
For all, the attraction and the reason why you will spend your holidays as our guests is the beauty of our magnificent valley: you will get up in the morning and have breakfast enjoying the sun that peeks out between the Marmolada and the Pordoi, in the evening enjoying the sunset on the Catinaccio which transforms the rock of Pordoi and Sassolungo into a fiery red. At every glance, without climbing the peaks that surround us but lying on the grass of the pitches, or comfortably seated in your caravan, an unforgettable postcard.
But there are many things to do and see, even for those who don’t ski.
From Campitello, for example, you can leave for long walks in complete tranquillity, listening in peace to the silence of our woods.
Skiing in Canazei, or just visiting its delightful centre, ideal for our more worldly guests, will be very simple: just take a comfortable walk of a few tens of minutes on foot, along the banks of the Avisio stream.
The most tireless walkers can instead test their physical shape and their “leg” along the Val Duron, a real corner of uncontaminated paradise, or descend the valley following the Avisio river up to Pozza or Moena.
For ice lovers there is a skating facility at the “Ischia” sports center in Campitello, and for ice hockey lovers the Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Alba, home of the Fassa Hockey Club, a team that plays in the championship of series A.
For those who want to do a little “off-piste” on two wheels, we have the forest cycle path, which from Canazei, passing through Campitello, descends the whole valley to Moena, following the path that turns into the Marcialonga in winter.
If, on the other hand, you are a little less active and comfortable, you can comfortably enjoy the sun and the fantastic panorama on the banks of the river that surrounds our structure. What are you waiting for??
